GPU power

Dogsparky

I was wondering would it be safe to use only one cable on a EVGA supernova 650 g2 to power a xfx r9 390x or should I use two? It has a 6 pin and a 6+2 pin power connector on the card

Alright cool,do you know how xpu power can work because my motherboard is a bit iffy on the actual connector as the connector doesn't actually fit and yes it I was putting it in the right way as well as tried other directions

But the power supply comes with an adapter that allows me to plug in a 8 pin cable that adapts to two other 8 pins that I can plug kntonthe motherboard but the motherboard only has one cpu power slot so I'm not sure if it is safe if one side of the cable isnt be used
