So im looking to go for a 7700k and it has a TDP of 91 watts and the  CRYORIG H7 49.0 CFM CPU Cooler has a TDP of 140 so it should handle it, right? also whitch mother board has the updated BIOS? if you dont know what im talking about then look at the compatibility notes on this list https://pcpartpicker.com/list/K7CfVY

The H7 is an outstanding cooler and can give you a mild overclock comfortably. If you want to shoot for 4.8GHz to 5GHz, you need something more substantial.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

chances are it would work as long as you buy a motherboard new otherwise that board can be updated with MSI's Bios flashback+.
