so right now i have this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EFIQ91G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (got it on a amzon lighting sale for $6)

and I like it and all but the only complaint is the "mode" option

when you press mode on the controller it will cycle through the modes, like breathing, flashing, strobing, quick single flash, and color cycle.

and thats good and all but the only thing I dont like is that when you pick a mode, so say i pick breath it will go though every color in the "breath cycle" then it will change to the next "mode" like single flashes, it does not stay on the mode you pick. it cycles through all the modes,

(this is all done via physical controller built into the base of the strip)

so im looking for a pre cut led strip that will allow me to pick a "mode" and stay on that mode untill I switch it, and yes an RGB LED strip. biggest thing is i want a color cycle mode.

Hey @Jamtoad, have you taken a look at the CableMod WideBeam RGB strips? If you purchase a kit you get an included controller similar to the one you have been using.
Plus, if anything ever became faulty, we replace it free of charge to you.
