Rush are good, very good, and they have loads of talent. But I can only say that they're nowhere near my favourite musicians. There are just too many good guitarists to chose from to select an all out winner, but guy from Rush (Alex L-something?) isn't near the top.

 

These guys show lots of raw talent, but maybe not so much when it comes to creating their own music. I don't generally like these guys

I'm usually torn between Mark Knopfler and David Gilmour when it comes to fav. guitar player, although I have been known to love the style and playfulness of Eddie Van Halen

Epic double bass drumming I enjoyed this. I love these threads because I get to hear new music.

Yeah I love the double bass. To me ancient bards is the best unknown band. Master of darkness is there most popular music video with only 250,000 hits.

 

Listening to the 5 rush songs vid right now and liking it so far.

 

Since I don't have a favorite drummer i'm going to substitute drums for bagpipes.

I feel a little young for this thread xD I'm only 15 and the music you guys are linking are before my time.

 

They have 2 bagpipe players though + the singer can play the bagpipes. So for bass they have 2 bagpipes, drums, bass guitar, and hurdy gurdy.
