I love Rush so much, I went to the last ClockWork Angles tour show, sat in the 5th row. To say the least it was frickin amazing.

Both of them are in the band ancient bards and I can just listen to the same guitar solo for like a hour straight

I am talking strictly talent those 3 guys can play like no one else. Geddy Lee best bass player ever, Alex Lifeson best gutair player ever, and Neil Peart best drummer ever.

 

Rush are good, very good, and they have loads of talent. But I can only say that they're nowhere near my favourite musicians. There are just too many good guitarists to chose from to select an all out winner, but guy from Rush (Alex L-something?) isn't near the top.

 

These guys show lots of raw talent, but maybe not so much when it comes to creating their own music. I don't generally like these guys

I'm usually torn between Mark Knopfler and David Gilmour when it comes to fav. guitar player, although I have been known to love the style and playfulness of Eddie Van Halen
