My computer isnt booting

I started playing bf3 but when i joined to game my computer turned off. I tried few times but same thing every time. Then i took it apart, replaced thermal paste and cleaned dust off. Now it isnt booting. When i try to turn it on power supply makes little noise but second time it doesnt. If i turn power supply off and on it makes little noise again.

Specs: AMD A10 6800apu

nvidia geforce760

16gb ddr3

1tb hard drive

550w power supply

Asus f2a85-v pro

maybe your hard drive or power supply gave up or the graphics card gave up.

Do you have another power supply on hand? Try that, maybe it gave up on life! What brand is your PSU?

We can only guess from this description, but sounds like your PSU is damaged

how old is the psu. try unplugging random power cables and testing it I recently had my pc not boot the hdd light would turn on but nothing else apparently the sata power had broken and unplugging it fixed everything.

If the GPU would be at fault, the PC would turn on, but wouldn't post, a hard drive wouldn't boot, but would post.

sounds like psu hopefully it didn't damage anything else you might be able to take it to a local repair shop and have them use a one of their PSUs

• If your build has integrated graphics, try that.
• Try using just one RAM stick.
• Reset CMOS
• Is cable inserted properly to PSU in the back?

It was just badly connected 24pin but i am still going to build new computer it is going to be ryzen + vega water cooled
