PSU replacement

Currently looking to purchase:

For the system in my signature.  My current PSU is going back to Scan for the fourth time and this time, I plan to get a refund.  I seem to be cursed with PSU units so fancy flipping back to Corsair since the other two computers in my household is running Corsair PSU units no issues.

That power supply will be fine.

I would however suggest getting an RM550x instead, slightly less wattage at around the same price, but it gives you tier 1 quality compared to the tier 3 of the grey CXm's.

to be fair I think the cxm's are only tier 3 because of the fan

I can get the EVGA 550 G3 for a solid price, any opinions?
