Ultrabook Help $1500

Hi guys I amm going to be traveling to japan in a few months for about a year. I wan to get an ultra book for my daily driver for daily tasks and some light content creation.Iwas looking at the  razer blade stealth 256gb uhd display. Not looking for 4k but I want something good. Any suggestions?

 

Also looked at HP envy 360 and dell xps 13. Only issue with the xps 13 is one of the people at the microsoft store mentioned they have a seperateset of drivers on top of the traditional ones that can cause issues. Is this true?
