Just wondering if anyone has built a custom loop in a Phanteks p400. I'm wanting to migrate from Define R5 to the p400 tempered glass edition when it releases. If anyone has any experience or opinions please share them. Pictures would be awesome as well.

Thanks,

TidaLWaveZ

Maybe he doesn't like the TG on both sides? And the P400 TG will be much cheaper, around $80 cheaper

I'm speculating the p400tg to be $130 at the high end, hoping for closer to $100. If I were doing a new build I would definitely consider a more expensive case like the evolve tg, but I'm just looking for a smaller better looking case for replacement as I'm a little dissatisfied with my R5.

the evolve isnt too big

p400s-210 mm x 465 mm x 470 mm W x H x D

evolve tg - 235 mm x 495 mm x 510 mm W x H x D

Difference is 25mm x 30mm x 40mm W x H x D

That's about an inch to an inch and a off of each side. I'd go back to the s340 but it won't support my 360mm. I know the size difference isn't that much but I really don't plan on spending that much on a case, I won't even buy the p400tg if it's more than $120. If I were going to spend that much I would just get the Raijintek Asterion when it releases.

The p400S TG might be near $130 but regular P400 TG expect to be the same price or cheaper then a S340 Elite

I know, I think it will just barely fit what I have which is kind of what I'm looking for. My R5 just looks like crap, I was so excited to upgrade from the s340 and ever since I got the r5 I've been wanting an s340 that fits my rads.

I'm going for the non silent model, I won't need the moduvents and I'm not to concerned about the side dampening panels. I'm wearing my headphones when my fans speed up anyway.

I figured, just noting the P400 is in direct competition with he S340 so figure the P400 TG will also with the S340 Elite

I'm really hoping for that $100 or less price tag. I'd already have the s340 elite if they had better watercooling support. I loved my s340 but I'm not going to sacrifice my custom loop to go back.

Ya that's an amazing price, I plan on getting the TG P400s very soon. Going to put some stuff up on /r/hardwareswap later today and some of it should sell fairly quickly

Price is great, leaves me enough to switch to hardline tubing.

I just bought the p400 tg as well. How did your custom loop turn out in it? Just rocking an AIO right now but consider changing in the future.

I'm actually still in the R5, couldn't pull the trigger on the p400. I really like the case but I would have serious trouble fitting my loop into it and I'm not really willing to sacrifice a radiator to make it fit.:(

Makes sense. I'm enjoying my kraken x62 but in a year or so may invest in the full thing. Might get the luxe tg then or who knows what will be out.
