Confused why iam unable to run gta5 properly in low or high or optimal quality

MY SPECS ARE i3 4150 3.5ghz, 6gb ram and gtx 1060 6gb g1 extreme edition but gta5 lags and gets sudden frame drop. I also have a balance smps about 500W of CIRCLE. Please help me out.

If you have the Steam version of the game, have you tried veryifing the game?

Make sure the "advanced graphics" settings are all disabled.

Bottlenecked. at least an i5 would be enough.

and at least 8gb of ram too.

It could very well be that the game isn't designed to run on dual core CPUs, then.
