I don't post here often. I am planning on making some special use servers to read and write data to all day every day for months at a time. Uptime is important. I have most of the parts picked out but I want to see if any of you knew of a way to acquire a few dozen Terabytes of HDDs for less than 25$/ TB ?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: 26$ Per TB is the best deal I have found (Aside from looking at local deals on CL and such)

It's tough getting that cheap AND reliable.  It sounds like you're trying to make a NAS or Server RAID.  If you're planning on regular access, you're going to wan to use NAS grade drives.  It may come closer to $50 per TB, but well worth the cost.  I've run into multiple failed drives using new Desktop drives.  They just aren't meant to handle the rugged use.  They ALL eventually failed.  None lasted longer than 3 years.
