My second monitor keeps turning off

GrumpyZade

My second monitor keeps turning off as if it's going to sleep, but this shouldn't even be possible. I've tried unplugging the dvi cable and reinserting it, but it hasn't helped. I have no idea what is causing this.

Sounds like an issue involving your driver.  Do you have the latest drivers for you GPU installed?

I don't have a discrete gpu, I have no idea tbh.

Do you have any adapters between the link of your PC and monitor? etc. HDMI to DVI

No, I was playing cs:go and it just turned off. I payed no mind to it since I didn't need it and I thought it was just a lose cable. Now it just keeps turning off every few seconds

Do you use a wireless mouse by any chance?

No, I have a Logitech g502 wired mouse

Okay, looking around on the internet and some people had the same problem because of the signal of their wireless mouses - idfk.

Try to update the drivers, if not that I don't know.

Welp, I figured it out. When I switched the inputs just to see what it would do I noticed it was flickering, only then did I realize that it was switching back and forth between the digital input and analog. I didn't realize till now since I usually have my headphones on, but there is also this loud whine coming from the monitor right before it shuts off.. Guess it's time to get rid of this old pos.
