So after buying my own "gaming rig" i was left with my old OEM pc, it's pretty bad but i want to slap a old used small gpu on it so it can play some small games such as minecraft, garrys mod, or whatever

It's got a Intel Pentium e5800 (dual core at 3.2ghz), 6 gigs of ddr3 ram. 300W PSU, and a G41T-AD mobo. I was wondering if i could just slap a used hd 7570 or something and that would be okay, i dont really want to spend anything over $30-40. I also don't really feel like getting in a chump change bidding war on ebay

Can't see any reason why not. Just check that your PSU can handle the card and the rest of the system
