Far cry 5

does anyone know if there will be a far cry 5 ?

or anything about it 

or any news at all on a new farcry game ?

Well Crytek is having serious financial problems at the moment.

I wouldn't count on any major releases by them any time soon.

 

EDIT: Well it seems Crytek hasn't even produced the last Far Cry games -> My bad.

Ubisoft is still alive and healthy

Technically, Far Cry Primal is Far Cry 5. Far Cry Primal came out back in February.And that's only if you don't count stuff like the Far Cry Instincts series, Far Cry Vengeance, and Paradise Lost.

 

Far Cry 1-4 don't follow the same story. They're spiritual successors; like Final Fantasy. Personally, I think it's weird that they're numbered 1-4 despite several spin-offs being basically the same thing; spiritual successors.

I was just about to say da F lol 

no doubt crytech will release something that cripples a Titan xp at 720p and then they will survive the next few years

they coasted hard on crysis 3

Everything I found out in the previous post was from a google search on the series and the widespread popularity of Far Cry Primal as a technical benchmark title in 2016. I'm sure you could find rumours regarding an upcoming Far Cry game with a similar Google search. Here's what I found.
