Phenom II 955 4.20GHz at 1.575 volts

Here is my 4.20GHz overclock. Also here is the Cinebench score using the same speeds.

Here is my current time and temps (I ran Prime95 using Small FFTs)

Here is my Intel Burn Test run 10 passes on very high. The ambient temperature has dropped which may account to the lower temps in IBT compared to Prime95.

Oh my... a few years ago I had a 955 Black... if I remember correctly I ran it @ 3.6 GHZ with voltages on auto.

At the time I had the 92mm Noctua tower heat sink on it... Temps were always just fine, but it did get alittle heat soaked when my old GTX 470 got cooking. I wonder what the hell ever happened to that chip... I should try to find it.

95W I have another machine with a 125W chip but it gets to hot, Apparently still capable of 4Ghz but that chip just doesn't want to do it. I can get about 3.5Ghz out of that. It is also however using a 212+ not th NH-D14

I'm just curious how much hotter the 125W gets over the 95W if you know? And does it only not overclock higher because of the heat or is it different than the 95W in some other ways? Someone wants to sell me a used UD3 motherboard and phenom x6 125W for a good price. Would appreciate the help.

1100T

4.06GHz

20x203

Prime 95 for 24 hours and max temp 55C using H100 push/pull

Going for higher overclock...testing now. Could get 4.06GHz from volt increase. Now increased from 1.4V to 1.425V. Testing now at 4.1GHz, if all goes good, will increase to more and see what happens. I don't really want temps going over 60C after a prime95 testing.

Fail at 1.425V at 4.2GHz using 21x200...any suggestions for different multipliers or anything?

Very nice score, but, for only an extra 150MHz i think it is much higher. I've been after a 5 on Cine ever since i started OCing this chip. A lot of tweaking and several reboots later, I've finally reached my goal for the 955.
