Hard drive removable?

My computer for some reason is recognizing my 3TB Toshiba HDD as ejecutable media. How do I fix this?

Is it meant to be an external or internal drive? What controller are you connecting through?

And there isn't anything particularly wrong with it being marked that way I don't think...

It's an internal drive. It's on the first SATA port on my Motherboard.

Interesting. Go into your BIOS settings and ensure SATA hotplugging is disabled.

My other computers never did it before. It displays like it's a flash drive. A window pops up in windows and says what would you like to do with this drive: "Toshiba (D:)"

It shouldn't do anything else, it shouldn't be able to write any garbage data or anything like that to the drive.

so go to control panel and change the way windows is mounting the drive. there is nthing wrong with the drive, just the way windows is handling it
