Apparently it was the week for cats to destroy hardware. My cat got onto my desk night before last and proceeded to vomit his entire stomach contents onto my poor Ducky. I had a great time cleaning it as best as I could. I let it dry out, tilted and with a towel under it. Upon plugging it back in, only the locks keys are lighting up and blinking. None of the other keys are even lighting up, let alone working. So much sad.

I figure at this point it's a lost cause so I opened it up. I found some gunk on a section of the pcb and it covered something that looked like a transistor. I cleaned it and wiped it clean as best as I could with isopropyl. Put it back together and still no dice. Even more sad. $150 keyboard dead within like a month of use.

If anyone knows of a good keyboard repair guide or something of the like, I would appreciate it. I don't really do any soldering or the like, so that is out.
