I was wondering is 100hz and enjoyable playing expierence for games such as call of duty battlefield gta and a couple other big games. Below is the setup I'm going with the right monitor is for console gaming and left is for miscellaneous things but was wondering should I get another monitor on the left that's 1440p with gsync such as fog swift or the acer preadator at 144hz or whatever the refresh rate is. Sorry if anything is put in wrong on mobile right now.

For editing it gives me better screen real estate as I edit at least 3 videos a day

As somebody who owns an X34. Its amazing in every single way. Unfortunately they dont guarantee 100Hz OC. I find sitting my monitor at 95Hz is just nicer than 100Hz. But you notice the difference, coupled with G-Sync and the best panel I have ever seen on a monitor and its just amazing but expensive :) Just be sure to get the X34A and not the x34.

I think BitWit recently said even a year later its still the best monitor in existence.

Would this be good I figure save 100 dollars because I have heard 165hz is just a gimmic if not I will get it but I feel like I would not notice a difference

I wouldn't bother with having your two side monitors over 60Hz. You wont be doing anything that requires more on them? I will assume you do some gaming and that would be on the x34? 60Hz to 100Hz feels like a gimmick but its really not and its so much smoother. You just have to remember to enable it on the monitor and the GPU.

So it wouldn't be a good Idea to game off the left monitor in games my gpu can reach higher than 100

Your X34 didn't make it to 100Hz? I have a X34 but haven't finished my build yet (no SSD). Do you think I could try overclocking it in the BIOS? (can't do it normally in Windows)

Will my console downscale when hooked up to the right monitor because I know they only play at 1080 and I'm pretty sure sometimes not even that.

My x34a will do 100Hz but not cleanly if that makes sense? I find the colours arent the same (its as if your pushing an OC too hard)  so I backed it down to 95Hz and its perfect.

well, i think it will downscale or it might just adjust to the size as if it was a 1080p TV or monitor.

Makes sense. But do you think I could try to overclock it in the BIOS to check?
