Mono to Stereo NEED HELP

I got my grandfather sennheiser headphones for Christmas. he is into amateur radio. the radio only produces a mono sound so on ear doesn't play anything. Is their anyway i can use a splitter or something to make the mono sound play int both ears?

You could certainly build one. That's some of the draw to amateur radio is this sort of stuff. Bridging the pins is what you need.

well he's 83. but i can't buy something that duplicates the 1 channel signal over 2 channels?

Sure you could, but that's so boring. He might be elderly, but electronics is in the blood of a ham.

 

Search for mono to stereo adapters on Amazon. Make sure to buy the correct size plug.
