Upgrading RAM on laptop - help with specs?

vasouv

I really need to upgrade the RAM in my father's laptop, 2GB doesn't cut it. I'm not sure if I got the specs right so I'd like your help to ensure compatibility.

According to the attached screenshots, I need to get a 1600MHz (PC3-12800) stick with 9-9-9-24 and 1.35V.

I have found two sticks, this one is 9-9-9-28 (I guess it will work?) and this one doesn't mention the last timing.

Am I good to go? Have I overlooked something? I'm kind of out of the loop nowadays with hardware...

What model is your father's laptop? Any DDR3 SODIMM will work. It doesn't need to have specific CAS timings and frequency.

Echelon Mk 2.11

It's an HP 250 G3 with a Celeron CPU. I was under the impression that laptops are more picky than desktops when it comes to memory...
