If i watercool my GPU can i put the air cooler back on if i wanted to?

can i take off the waterblock and put the original air cooler back on if i wanted to? its the Titan X Pascal

MAIN RIG:

GPU: Asus ROG Strix 2080Ti 

CPU: i7 9700K

Mobo: Asus ROG Strix Z390-F

Ram: 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4 3200MHZ

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100x RGB

SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 500GB

SSD 2: SanDisk Ultra 2 240GB

Case: Coolermaster Masterbox 530P

PSU: Corsair RM650x

Monitor: Asus ROG PG278Q

Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth 2016

Mouse: Razer Naga Trinity

Headset: Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma

Speakers: Bose Companion 20

Yes you can. Just keep all the screws and thermal pads.

And you'll need thermal paste to have it working again with the air cooler on.

 

See eg: Moving vlog where they rebuild their editing rigs. Linus does it there too. (When he pulls out the double titans from Edzel's machine.)

Yes, nothing special.

It just takes some time if you are new to this.

 

And you should sort those screws so you will know where to put them.

With EKWB water cooling, you get some small bags, where you can store your screws from GPU and then just put paper inside with info where it belongs. I found 2 bags like that that I have right now:
