Does anyone use roaming profiles for serious workstation use?   I'm curious about where things get stored.  I know user data gets sebt out to the network,.  But what about programs?  If you need to use photoshop for example,  and a user installs it..  The thee next day sits down at another workstation,  does the program exist in that workstation as. Well,   or does it have to be  installed there to  (via admin for all users in guessing)

Im tryinh to determine what kind of storage requirements i need for the workshop workstations and the new server we are building.   Nothing (as far as job related data)  is stored locally,  but users might have their own folders with notes or articles or whatever.

....i dont know.. thats why i asked.. i thought user data would just be the files generated by said programs and a copy of the registry.
