So.  I had my 860K overclocked on my old motherboard, an Asus A68HM-Plus to 4.5GHz stable, didn't need to increase voltages or anything.  (I didn't even try to push it farther than that).
A family member got me an ASRock FM2A88X Pro3+ for Christmas.  I tried to put back on my overclock, but I can't get it stable past 4.3GHz.

I'm assuming this has something to do with a new motherboard, but I'm wondering if it might be something else I'm doing wrong?

Reset CMOS? Then maybe add more voltage. :P I'm not sure in what steps to increase it by, nor am I sure what the max is, but imma just go with 1.35v is the max, and don't go past that c:

The ASRock board appears, at least from what I have read, to have lower quality power delivery to the CPU compared to you old board, but could also be a lower starting voltage setting in the UEFI.
