Gaming headset and a modmic?

Just thinking would the hyperx cloud 2 be good with a modmic because ive hear that the mic on them is not the best?

don't see the point in buying a budget oriented headset and then adding a mic that cost almost half as much to it.

Might as well go for a headphone and modmic at that point.

Anyways, the HyperX Cloud II microphone is decent for gaming chat or skype chat or some amateur YouTube stuff.

Cloud 2 mics are decent, better get a proper headphone and slap on a modmic for better results
