CPU cooler for 6800K

Go to solution Solved by Qyoon,

I ordered the Noctua NH-D15 today , will be delivered tomorrow.

So i can send back the silentloop and won't deal with it anymore.

Good point is i already have 2 spares NF-A15 so the top of the case won't be empty.

now wondering what i will get with the refund ticked , maybe a 960 evo xD

Hello there !

First i hope everybody had a good christmas !

Here is my issue.

Recently, after only 1 month my Bequiet silent loop pump started to act very weird.

Making noise, and yesterday being REALLY loud, it's clearly dying.

It was making so much noise i heard it with my headset and music on.

contacted Bequiet service (in france BQ service is terribly bad by the way.

it's a single dude not answering , had to call 4 times...just for him to respond even been redirected to his mobile...

Telling me there is nothing he can do and contact my vendor, ( vendor was saying to contact Bequiet at first lol).

I am supposed to send the cooler back to them to get a new one, but facing 2 issue.

1 : 6800K is sold without intel cooler wich means i have to buy a new one anyway.

2 : I don't trust this product anymore and won't use it even if i get a new one.

Leading then to a Question , "wich cpu cooler should i get ?"

I need a cpu air cooler for an I7 6800K oc to 4,1Ghz.

First priority is low noise , i don't care about the way it looks.

i had a Bequiet Dark Rock Pro C1 in the past wich was more than fine.

But concidering the poor service , i am not sure i want to continue with them,

Even thinking of changing my psu just in case.

I looking at the noctua NH-D15 (using noctua fans since 2009 never had any issue)

What do you use ? Why ? What are your temps ? Would you advise to get the same?

I wish i could oc my body, during winter overheating would be great.

Mine was a 280... but i don't think there will be a huge difference anyway.

Just really mad i have to spend 100€ on a cooler right after 150 for the AIO...

Hey my friend,

thanks to the EU and national legislation we have some very good consumer rights. If your product is really faulty/defective already within a month you have the RIGHT to get your money back. Of course the vendor is allowed to offer a new product of the same caliber to mend his loss too, but if you INSIST you should get your money back.

Here some info on your European consumer rights, very short and readable: http://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/consumers/shopping/guarantees-returns/index_en.htm

Hope this helps!

Already asked them about it , problem is i bought it the 11/23/2016 , we are the 12/28/2016.

They are offering me an "avoir" ( french word) basicly credit covering 100% of my cooler value.

Usable on their website to buy anything i want. But only after i sent it back.

Wich means anyway i can't use the pc without a cooler so i have to buy one

I am using the pc remotely for my virtual machines when i am at school so i need it...

I wish i could oc my body, during winter overheating would be great.
