Windows 10 issues

Using windows 10, a lot of the time whenever I try to open a folder or file manager, it won't load, or the things on the side to go to desktop and such won't load.

 

I also can't search with the start button.

How can I fix this?

Won't load as in Explorer opens and 'takes a long time to load', or Explorer just doesn't open?

 

Your hard drive could be beginning to fail.

Just bought a new SSD and reinstalled Windows...

Explorer opens and takes a long time to load.

It opens, but just takes forever.

Windows updates opens and immediately closes too.

When you re-installed windows did you try to merge data over or do a clean installation?

I would try running Windows in Safe Mode and seeing if the issue still occurs. Also, disconnect any additional drives other than the OS SSD.

 

If the issue still persists, try a clean install of Windows 10 if possible.
