New Problem though, how do i hook the cooler onto the retention bars?

Loosen the lever and hook the other end onto the tab and then hook on the side with the lever. Flip the lever to lock it into place.

Make sure the clips are hooked before flipping the lever.

i did do that, it was fine at first but as soon as i picked up my mobo it snapped out of place and the lever is too loose to snap it into place again.

It's supposed to be loose enough to manipulate the hook into place.

Make sure that the arm is centered on the heatsink.
