GTX 570M performance?

Go to solution Solved by DaftBehemoth,

I have an MSI laptop with one, and I can tell you it's gonna struggle. I got by playing BF3 multiplayer on low settings @ 1080p, but that's about as much as it could handle. I still use the laptop for more basic games though.

Hello! I'm wondering how a GTX 570M performs at 1080p. I'm considering buying a laptop with one in it.

I have a lot of games, and the ones I wonder about the most are GTA V, Doom, The Witcher 3, Far Cry 4, Fallout 4, and Batman: Arkham Origins.

It doesn't have to look nice, but I want 1080p60 on the beast.

The rest of the specs are respectable and concurrent.

You will be able to run older games maxed out 1080P, newer games will require the settings to be all on the lowest possible and you will need to drop your resolution back.

What CPU btw

TL;DR should be good at 1080p low/medium 30fps

it wont be good, it will play games at 1080p, on low though. most games should be playable on low settings but not more then that i would say. lighter games like CS:GO will be playable on decent settings but GTA V i doubt will do 60fps consistantly unless you basically bottom out the settings

will be worse then what i said above, didnt notice it was the M variant, light titles should still be ok but GTA V i doubt will be good even on lowest settings tbh

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)
