I bought an rx 480 and whilst the performance has been ok Im not sure im quite getting the right performance. For example I did the Far Cry primal benchmark and got a stable 40 fps but on other websites they got higher. I also saw this in wattman is this what it should be? http://prntscr.com/do2c6c

Computer is

cpu i5 4460

graphics card msi gaing x rx 480

1tb HDD

8gb ram

550w psu

Assuming the card isn't in use sitting at 300 is normal, and 2000 max is the stock settings, you can overclock that, but it will make barely any performance difference compared to if you overclocked the gpu core clock.

But is that right? Is that what it should be at because here it says 8000mhz https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/Radeon-RX-480-GAMING-X-8G.html#hero-overview

Due to how GDDR5 works, you basically divide that number by 4 to get the indicated number in things such as wattman (thus 2000MHz is correct).
