Hey guys,

I just recently finished my first ever PC build. It was built for both gaming and recording (for both live and "not-live?") videos. I'm still waiting on a new microphone, but today I thought I'd try doing some more testing. Most specifically a built rig video. Anyways. The only external video recorder I have is my cell-phone, and I shot it all in "Ultra HD"  (3840x2160). Anyways, when I dropped the files into Hitfilm4 Express I found that the video in the playback area looks like it's "zoomed in". Now of course I scrolled out and that wasn't the case, In playback it's just ignoring the rest of the video (quite a bit of the outter edges)... You can see exactly what I'm talking about in the image below.

I have tried exporting the video and it turns out the same way as the photo in the right. Any guidance is greatly appreciated, although you may have to hold my hand. I will completely admit a am a noob when it comes to video editing. Thanks in advance,

When I zoom out in the previewer that you just see the same image bordeed from further away. I was unable to get the project resolution to match recorded video. Highest I could go with resolution (And yes I tried a custom resolution at 3840x2160 but it wouldn't let me) was 1920x1080.
