I am going to play mostly esports and some triple A titles. I found 2 good deals.

An rx 470 8gb and a gtx 1060 3gb. Which one or should i buy something else?

GTX 1060 3GB as it is more powerful than the RX 470.

As others pointed out, the RX 480 4GB would be a better choice.

BTW, which games are you playing?

Go for it that;s better then any of the other cards you listed as the 1060 3gb is using a diffrent GPu then the 1060 6gb therefore it is slower

My life

For esport csgo, rocket league. For triple A battlefield 1.

Then get the 480! When using DX12 in Battlefield 1, the 480 is blazing fast!

Yeah! SSDs don't affect gaming performance, whereas graphics cards do. :D

Can i use the evga 430 watt PSU if i buy the rx 480 with an i3 6100? And also will it bottleneck?

I would recommend the GTX 1060 then... The RX 480 draws more power than the GTX 1060....

If you want to get a 480 though, make sure that the one that you are buying has a 6-pin connector and not an 8-pin(Same story with the GTX 1060)

30w difference between RX480 and GTX1060.

He is talking about a custom RX 480... These usually have a higher TDP than the reference one....

I have a Sapphire Nitro RX480. If you run stock clock 1342MHz. The core will only draw about 100-105w. Plus the VRAM and cooling fans. The power draw is well within the 150w mark. Overclocking is another story. But that applies to GTX1060 as well.

Besides, people use 500w power supply in a 980 ti build. Which has a massive 250w TDP. As long as the PSU is decent quality(tier 3 or higher). 430W is plenty for a budget build. I doubt his system will draw more than 250w under full load.

I think that the EVGA would be better as its quality is better...

Yes i know when a part is making a system cannot go to its full potential

No matter what components you have in your system. There will always some bottleneck somewhere. Some games are CPU dependent. Others draw heavily on GPU.

Unless you have a serious mis-match or CPU and GPU, like a Pentium with GTX1080. Which causes massive stuttering. Otherwise, a minor bottleneck is really no big deal. For example, you get 72 FPS instead of 75 FPS. Your games will run just fine. It isn't like your system will freeze up, crash or explode.

I would get a 1060 3gb and be fine with it or try for rx 480 4gb instead. Don't let anyone tell a 1060 3gb is worse than a 470 because it is not
