How to connect to wifi on new build

florianerb

Built my first pc today. Windows is installed and working, everything going good.

However I cannot connect to the wifi, I have an Asus 170-a motherboard with a Gigabyte gc-wb867d-i network card. It's in the pci-E slot with the antenna out.

There's no option on windows to click wifi?

I manually installed the drivers from this website: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5660#dl via usb however nothing changed.

What am I missing?

I didn't check your links, but downloading ASUS drivers from the Gigabyte website seems VERY odd ;)

It's an Asus motherboard with a gigabyte network card.

I've been a Mac user all my life, do I need Asus drivers?
