Your dream build?

PCMR Ricos

Hey guys, this is just a chill post ^^, don't post those SLI Nvidia Tesla, Quadros or SLI Titan X,

If you got $5000 what would you do? Would you spend all in a pc or just some of it?

I would watercool my current PC and spend the rest on tacos. It would be perfect.

But I want Titan X SLI :(  Though $5000 would be far from enough for my dream build haha... it's like $7500

Asus X99-A w/ BIOS 3402 | Intel i7 5820k OC @4.4GHz 1.28V w/ Noctua NH-U14S | 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 OC @2666MHz 12-14-14-28 | Asus Geforce GTX970 STRIX OC | EVGA 750 G2 750W | Samsung 850 Evo 1 TB | Windows 10 64-bit | Be-Quiet Silent Base 800 w/ Silent Wings | 2x Dell U2414H OC @72Hz w/ Display Port

Don't forget to invest in an Intel Tuning Plan if you're going to overvolt your K/X CPU

why give us 5k and then tell us we can't get anything expensive with it?

I would get a PG348Q or X34 monitor, and then wait for 7700k/1080ti and put a custom loop into my system. would recycle my RAM, PSU, and case that are currently in use to make sure this is all affordable.

If i had money left over, I would also get one of the new Samsung 960 series NVME m.2 drives. Might even buy 2 half sized 960's and raid 0 them for the lolz.

Finish the plans I've got for my current PC and upgrade my setup. Like 2-3 monitors, new desk, new chair, some good ass headphones and misc items for my room to make it a better place. Imo I don't care if I've got some beast PC, if my setup or others setup are trash then it ruins it.
