Holy crap help, so I'm trying to type in my password for Wifi on retropie and I cant because my password has a hashtag in it so everytime I try to type it types a euro symbol or something so if someone knows how to be able to type a hashtag in retropie please help me thank you.

You can change your keyboard country/layout in raspi-config (been through this exact problem )

The default keyboard might be set to uk

Do that. Also, it's a 'pound' symbol, not a 'hashtag'  (not to be confused with the pound Sterling symbol)
