I need a new laptop...Help???

I need ideas on what laptop I should get. I want to be able to game, record, edit, and render on this computer. I currently have a Lenovo Yoga with a Pentium N3530 4GB of ram, and no dedicated graphics. I would like it to be $1000 or below, has to have video out, ethernet, and at least 3 USB ports, I would like it to be 15" or smaller, if possible have a backlit keyboard, I also plan on using this for school, so it needs to be fairly light, thin, and small, and I have been told that Razer Blades are not good, and I should not get one. But shoot away, I am open to all ideas.
