Hi guys,

I'm looking into upgrading my audio setup. I've just bought a pair of Sennheiser HD 598s, along with a Schiit stack, which is awesome, but I need help when it comes to the microphone setup.

I've bought an Audio Technica AT2020 XLR mic, along with a Behringer Q502 mixer and a RODE PSA1 arm. Nothing has arrived yet, so I'm unaware of how they need to be set up.

Basically my question is this: Is there any other accessory I need to buy for my microphone setup? I'm new to the whole stand alone mic game, and need a hand. Thanks guys!

You should be fine with all that, although you might need an XLR cable if you haven't bought one yet (I don't think anything you bought will come with one, but I'm not sure.)

I believe the AT2020 needs phantom power, so make sure you turn the phantom power on (on the mixer) when you plug the mic in.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)

Thanks for the feedback :)
