How much would you be willing to pay for an app you like?

So, how much would you be willing to pay for an Mobile app you really like?

 

It could be anything like Super Mario Run or Plex or anything like that.

Depends much about app. Up to €3 for basic but everyday apps like music player, audiobook player, calendar, RSS reader etc. Up to €5 for apps which would have more features or some specialty with paid version. Like route search for public transport, THE one keyboard I actually like etc.

If I had to pay for it to find out if I liked it then I probably wouldn't ever try it to begin with. Too many broken promises and not enough reason to trust a random person's claims on their own product.

 

But if buying it first to see if I liked it wasn't a factor, then it would depend on the utility of the app for me. I'd do about $10 for something I knew was good in any field (product suite, game, utility). $20+ is the "I'm using this phone/tablet for professional utilities" range (FL Studio mobile, Chessbase mobile, educational suites). I couldn't pay $20 for an app game or something with no value other than entertainment though.

 

So I can't just pick one of those items from your poll. It really depends on many factors.

Depends on the App but usually, i am willing to pay 1-2$ for almost everything because the chance of regret it is fairly low.
