Hi there was just wondering what 770 i the best to go for.

I think you should get a reference card. They're gorgeous. And also, if you plan on SLI, get a 4GB. If I regret anything, it's getting a 2GB model.

Get the one that is the quietest and has low temps. Maybe you have a color scheme in your build, then try to match that.

 

There are differences in driver features (not the nvidia but the manufacturer drivers), i don't know if you care about such.

 

Edit: do as ^SLSAmg suggested and consider the 4 GB model. - seriously, do it, 2 won't last long.

No, it is not true that it performs better. They are neck and neck. The 770 performs better in some situations, and the R9-280X in others.

For the record I own a GTX 770

As do I. And for the record, while people may want to believe it, I am not an Nvidia fanboy. A majority of my personal graphics cards are AMD, and I am doing an AMD system soon for a SteamBox.
