need help with theme!

i'm using google chrome. nope ,i can't try a different browser as none of then really open other than chrome.! even mozilla and opera! my internet speed is low,it's like 1mbps download speed.

That's probably the problem. What's happening I think is that the normal theme and stuff like the home page are in your browser cache, where as the sub pages and the day theme assets currently have to be loaded over the internet because they're not being cached yet. If you use it for a bit it will be cached and performance will improve.

If you want to see what's taking the longest to load, press F12, go to the network tab and see which bars are the longest. If you want to check if it was loaded from the cache, look in the status column and if it says 304 not modified then you loaded it from cache, and if it says 200 OK then it was loaded over the net.

Hey guys! i have been going through this problem from a day now. What happens is,when i change my theme form "IP.Board" to the "day theme",Linus tech tips doesn't really load!! and not even the others! Just the homepage of the site comes fast and then when i change(i mean ,ex.if i open www.google.com,the homepage will appear ,but when i want to search anything,the page doesn't load!! :(  same with linus tech tips. the homepage comes,but when i want to go to a particular post,or anything else,it doesn't load! Currently,i'm running the " IP.Board,since i don't want slow speeds!

 

Does any one have the same experience?

Is there any way to solve my problem?

What browser are you using? Can you try a different browser (but not internet explorer). Also, how fast is your internet http://www.speedtest.net

No wonder, 1Mbps is terrible. Switch back to the old theme because it's less intense than the day theme so it will load faster. Get better internet :P
