Need help finding the right psu

ahappychristmastree2.0

I'm going to be buying a new power supply after Christmas because I'm looking to go sli. My current rig is evga 790i ultra mobo, xeon x5450 (at 4ghz, 1.3v), an old aio water cooler, 8gb of ram, and a zotac 660 ti amp, also 3 case fans and a 7.2k disk drive. Currently it all runs on a 500w but I'm looking to add another 660 ti. On power calculators its saying a 700w or 750w will be good but I don't know what brand to get. I'm looking at getting it on a boxing day sale for under $100, so I'd love to hear some recommendations if you guys have any. Thanks

Why another 660ti? Why not sell existing one and get a better gpu? 2 cards always cause problem. Not all game suport that

Good ones are EVGA G2/G3/GQ or Corsair RM/RMx/HX/AX

Seasonic is good too.

For the $50 you can get for your current 660ti, the $50 for a new one and $100 for new PSU you could easily get a 1060 3gb and blow the 660ti's in sli out of the water, while saving on energy consumption, poor sli scaling and extra heat.

CPU: I5 4590 Motherboard: ASROCK H97 Pro4 Ram: XPG 16gb v2.0 4x4 kit  GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 PSU: EVGA 550w Supernova G2 Storage: 128 gb Sandisk SSD + 525gb Mx300 SSD Cooling: Be Quiet! Shadow Rock LP Case: Zalman T2 Sound: Logitech Z506 5.1 Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma Keyboard: DBPower LED

On the one hand, you'll get better performance out of a single RX 480 than SLI 660 Tis, i think.

On the other, grab this $60 EVGA B2 which is great.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

I wouldn't do a 3GB 1060 when an RX 480 with actual 4GB of VRAM and better performance costs $20 more.
