I might eventually put some sort of multi-core Athlon in my rig, and I was wondering if the heatsink that came with my Sempron will be enough to keep it cool while I save up to get a heatsink like this EVGA (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835288004). I might actually save up and get it, I might not.

There are better cooling solutions but a Hyper 212 is a good budget cooler.

Just get the biggest heatsink you can get your hands on then put a hairdryer on it (or the heatsink from a old GTX 480).

it looks the same as the Hyper 212 EVO, I personally wouldn't bother buying that unless you really love the LED and paint job.

its nothing like the 212, it has 5 heatpipes instead of 4 and they are thicker by the look of it.
