So ive been researching and asking for help on other places and not getting the answers i need.  Im hopping you guys can help me out more. Right now im working on building my PC which I intend on using for streaming and game development.on my work days i will stream after work and on my days off I will be going to class and developing. I was pretty conent on getting a 6700K but then a little research later and i found that the 5820K might be better for development where the 6700K is better for streaming. And now based off a forum I saw here im thinking the 6800K might beat both of those....just which cpu do you guys think I should use? Or are the diffrences so small it wont matter in the end. I appriciate any help guys but ive been trying to get a solid idea on what i need and my personal research is reaching its end

There all good choices depends on how much money you have(though the 6800k is slightly better then the 5820k and newer and almost at the same price)

I plan on spending over $2000USD and the price diffrences at mpst is $80 so thats not a concern. Now I've never overclocked before.... but im assuming the 6800 is still better if both are overclocked. I hope thisbid the end of my journey because every time i find something im conent with i see something better within a decent price range lol.

Ahhh i see the 6800 also uses a X99 board...i was pretty happy about the z170 boards for no particular reason but i keep seeing a pattern that better cpus use the X99 for some reason

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7DtdGf though if your intrested in upgrading to kaby lake then go z170 otherwise this is a pretty decent build on a relatively new platform

But you have more ram...and a better system fan...and its cheaper some how...lol must be magic. Once i buy all the parts i wont be upgrading for some time. Id almost just rather buy a new motherboard ifbi was going to change my cpu like that only because most of thebother parts would be compatable. Althougj I would prefer a asus motherboard over the MSI
