Idk. Its roughly a 15 minute drive to my work which is on the mountain, and that is going left most of the time. So I would say 20 miles max. (Its probably wrong). My towns elevation is about 10,000 Feet and the mountains are 14,000 feet. Im really tempted to beat the HighLANder record on a nearby mountain. (I would need a 15,000 ft mountain)

 

edit: And that 15 minute drive is going parrallel to the mountains, so straight up would probably about 5 minutes
