Fan Splitter

Get a few small fan splitters. It will be fine.

I think that your only option is to get a fan controller like one of these. They use one of the slots on the front of your case and some you can get that you can set certain temperature "goals" and it will adjust speed accordingly however those cost more and are less common than the potentiometer ones.

sorry to throw another wrench in your plan, but my case doesn't have a 5.25 inch bay
