I'm like 75% site I'm having an issue with my ram. I have a 2x8gb kit of ballistxs sport Lt ddr4 2400. I'm getting crashes in game along with stuttering, and freezing. However when I got to test the problem I cannot recreate it, also running memory diagnostic comes back all good. It's a little infrequent but sometimes it's pretty brutal. Any thoughts on how to accurately test, diagnose this problem?

Just trying to recreate the situations that seemed to bring the problem to light, also the built in Windows memory diagnostic. Every time I've set aside time to specifically try and figure it out it runs smooth as butter... Aggravating.

Try memtest86:

http://www.memtest86.com/

If that also doesn't work, I would suspect that the disk is doing something wrong.

after you installed the ram did you try clearing the cmos with the cmos jumper? I' not sure that every computer requires this but mine would not boot before I did

That seems a bit odd. I wouldn't think that would help though since it boots done, and is problem free 95% of the time.

A bit more frustration. 21 hours no fails or errors.

I'm suspecting the hard drive/SSD is acting up.
