So I will be gaming at 60 fps at 1080p. I want to know if getting a 100hz monitor is worth it. Right now my budget is 200 dollars and i have been liking the color depth on  some 60 hz hp monitors. But will the difference of 40 hz be worth it. Or could anyone recommend me an ips panel in that price range. thanks so much for helping

With a 1050ti, its probably not worth it to get a monitor with a refresh rate over 60hz. Here are some 60hz options:

http://pcpartpicker.com/product/mJsKHx/dell-monitor-u2414h (for colour accuracy)

and

I'm having a hard time finding reviews for that one. But from using the last generation of HP monitors, I am skeptical of HP monitors because the ones I had from that brand line had poor quality screens and seemed color faded. I would rather get the Acer or the Dell because they are tested and known to be better quality
