So I'm going to be getting a MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X soon and I've been hearing issues with MSI Gaming App causing fps drops, hogging resources, etc.

I would simply get rid of the Gaming App and use afterburner instead, however, the only way to control the RGB on the Gaming X is through the MSI Gaming App. If I use afterburner and the gaming app at the same, I hear that it will cause conflicts.

Furthermore, it seems that the only way to get the factory OC on the Gaming X is through the installation of the Gaming App which sucks.

I hear that LED Visualizer doesn't work with MSI pascal cards either, so I don't have many options.

Does anyone know if the Gaming App has been fixed yet and if it still conflicts with afterburner, causes fps drops, hogs resources, etc.?

Because if it hasn't been fixed I'm going to be forced to sacrifice my LED's for afterburner.
