Ok so I am planning my build and I was wondering about how would it perform with the things i'll use it for.

I'll mostly be using Autodesk Maya and Inventor

Games Include Modern titles (BF4, COD Ghosts) and some older/ recent ones (Minecraft, Portal 2, L4D2, COD BOPS2, Garry's Mod, etc.)

If you have any edis I am free for suggestion but I am on a budget of under $2000 and I really like where I'm sitting at right now also my peripherals, gpu and ram amount are not debateable sorry. :)

Everything will be running on one 1080p monitor. I will upgrade but thats a fews years off.

I like to run games at their higher level settings and I do not plan on overclocking my system until I am more confident in my skill.

GPU= AMD R9 290X

The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.

Only Abate, Axe, and Wobbles can save us.

Wait for non-reference 290Xs. I'd probably cut the SSD in half and get the ever-popular 212 Evo. Perhaps a 990 board too, and do you actually need a Blu-Ray drive?

All good points I'll have to wait either way, I want to store as pretty much everything but the os on the ssd(I don't really care too much about boot times) and Yes I do need the Blu-Ray Drive!

With that budget budget I would

Go Intel for PCi 3.0

Get a better cooler (a nice AIO?)

Ditch the overpriced razer crap.

Get prettier RAM :P

290x is total overkill for 1080p gaming, 270x or 280x is also great for 1080p gaming, if you want to save some money, then i would buy 280x, but 290x is still a great card. :)

I would switch to 2x8GB because that leaves room for upgrade in the future, and just because it is an after market cooler doesn't inherently make it better. So the Evo, like metioned above, would be my recommendation.

Good Advise Sir! I will take it into consideration! So yea I was gonna get the evo and spaced :P
