I was wondering if does? I've had it at a young age. Does anyone know if it does?

yes... but it depends on why you had asthma in the first place.

If it stemmed from some sort of developmental issue that you have since grown out of, or had corrected by surgery then probably not.

However if yours, or anyone else's, asthma was the result of some other medical condition Acid reflux for instance, then it can come back if you develop that condition again.

There is also the possibility that you grew out of whatever caused you asthma as a kid only to get it again for an unrelated reason later in life.

I only know this stuff because last year i was diagnosed with acute onset asthma stemming from some medical issues i was having at the time.  Those have since gone away and with them the asthma.

You don't grow out of it... I don't get asthma attacks as often as I used to when I was growing up. I havent touched an inhaler in probably 7 or 8 years and I can run around like a horse and not wheeze and I can laugh til I shed literal tears and not worry about wheezing. I do still wheeze occasionally but that's due to the environments I work in sometimes.

I hope it doesn't haha! I was diagnosed with asthma when I was about 7, had symptoms til I was about 15 and not has anything since for 11 years now, and I can easily jog 5-10k with no issues. TBH with me I think there is a correlation between when I started pushing myself into more sports, and football (which requires a lot of running) and my asthma disappearing.

But who knows?...

That's the same that happened to me but I was diagnosed at birth... From what I've realised it more of your body adjusting to it, so if you don't play sports or play wind instruments or do some activity that gives your lungs a good workout it plagues you a lot longer but if you do you cope with it much faster. I still  can't run a 5 or 10k for shit
