AMD FX 4100 bottleneck?

I was wondering, would the FX 4100 bottleneck the GTX 1050ti? I'm building a system for someone, and they want to keep it as cheap as possible, and wanted to know if this CPU would severely bottleneck the GPU when it comes to games such as Overwatch or Assassins Creed 2. I think you will be fine for now. The game you mentioned are not really CPU heavy much

Okay, thank you. The person I'm building for will eventually upgrade to maybe a 6000 series or a 8000 series but she wants bang for buck.

I would get an i3 6100 instead or wait and see if AMD Ryzen has any budget options.

Well, she doesn't have much of a budget. She wanted me to try and keep it close to 300 dollars, and the CPU we originally had (FX 6300) was around 99.00 so that would cut off 100 dollars since I already have a 4100 on hand. Not trying to argue, but it is temporary until she's ready to make a leap in generations.

Really just came for the opinion of it would work or not so I don't screw her over and she gets less than sub par performance. Thank you for the quick replies.
